Dear Saseenos Families,
Next week is busy with our last few practices before our winter concert day on Wednesday. Friday is our PAC hosted Winter Sale in the gym. Please see below for information.
- For our Winter Concert on Wednesday: There are two performances. In the afternoon at 1:30pm and in the evening at 6:00pm. The 1:30 performance is open for anyone who would like to join us. It may be a great one for Grandparents to watch.
*If you are able, please send your child in Black and/or White in any combination.
*Please arrive between 5:30 and 5:45. We know parking is difficult so please have patience with each other and leave time for walking into Saseenos. We will have staff parking by the gym so the staff parking is open.
- We will be sending report cards on MyEd on Thursday, Dec. 18th. Please use this information to access your child’s MyEd account: MyEd BC Portal | Sooke School District If you have problems please reach out to Ms. Hull, 250-642-5261.
- If you have or know a preschooler family please share the information in the attachment for a POP UP PLAY at John Muir on Tuesday, December 9th from 1-2pm!
- We will have the information session for Nature Kindergarten registration for September 2026 on January 8th 6pm to 7pm at Saseenos Elementary. Please see the attached poster for more information and the Saturday information option. Please share this with families who have preschoolers registering for Kindergarten in September. Thank you.
Information From PAC
- Hello everyone, with Winter Break fast approaching the Saseenos Elementary School PAC is proud to announce the return of out Holiday Market again this year!
-For those who are new to the school the Holiday Market is a great opportunity for all students to purchase a previously loved item for a loved one (we are encouraging them to buy for others and to share the holiday spirit). All items will be $2, bake sale items will be $1 and FREE Hot chocolate for all. We will drop off money to each class for any kids who forgot to bring money or for those who can’t afford to participate. Each student is invited to purchase 1 gift and one baked items to start, at the end of the day they can’t come back and buy whatever they like.
-We will have volunteers wrapping the gifts as well. Ideally each student will need $5-$6 to purchase a few things if they like. Parents are welcome to join at the end of the day,we will also drop items down to $1 and then free to clear out everything.
-If you have any questions please send Chloe Beach a email at chloecatnut@shaw.ca, Thank you everyone!
