The Salish First Nations referred to this land as Saseenos – “sunny land sloping gently up from the sea.”

Welcome to our  school located on the unceded traditional territories of the T’Sou-ke Nation. Our school is Kindergarten to Grade 5. Our learning community includes approximately 200 students and 35 staff members. We  have an active Parent Advisory Council and we appreciate the supportive involvement of parents.

At our school, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and connected. We foster a culture of kindness, caring, and respect where students are encouraged to support one another, celebrate differences, and actively participate in their learning. Our students are encouraged to take risks, ask questions, and grow both academically and personally.

We also believe that some of the best learning happens beyond the classroom walls. Through outdoor play, nature-based learning, and hands-on experiences, students build confidence, resilience, problem-solving skills, and a deeper connection to the world around them.

Together, we are creating a joyful learning community where children are encouraged to be kind, work hard, explore often, and become their best selves.
