Dear River Runner Families,
We are wrapping up a wonderful week with our Grade 5s being celebrated yesterday and treating us to their singing, and today our walk to honor Indigenous People’s Day. Thank you to everyone who was able to join us for these events. Monday we were presented with Water Safety from the Life Saving Society of BC. Please ask your River Runner what they remember as part of the presentation was about the importance of sharing water safety knowledge. Next week we all head to Fishboat Bay on Tuesday for a day of playing and celebrating the end of the year together.
- Thank you to our PAC for your incredible help over the last few weeks and whole school year. We all appreciate you very much!
- Over the last few months Mrs.B and all her parent, kid and staff volunteers have been working hard on get the Saseenos Garden up and going and it is looking amazing! We have vegetables, berries, flower, herbs, fruit trees and more. With summer coming up they are on the hunt for a few parents/families to volunteer to help water and weed the garden to keep it going. They have a attached a Volunteer sign up sheet, shifts are only 20-30mins long and can be done in the mornings or evenings. As a thank you they invite you to pick any produce you can use from the garden. https://volunteersignup.org/MTX7C If you have any questions please reach out to Britney or Chloe directly, thank you.
