Lace Up for a Cause: Our School’s Terry Fox Run

Get ready to run, walk, or roll in honor of a Canadian hero. Our annual Terry Fox Run is happening on Thursday, September 25, 2025. We’ll kick off the event with a special assembly in the gym at 11:00 AM, followed by the run around the field.

We welcome all parents, family members, and leashed pets to join in this special event. Our students will be running 3 to 5 laps and earning a hand stamp for each one.

To support the Terry Fox Foundation, we are asking each student to bring a “Toonie for Terry” ($2 donation). Our goal is to raise $1,000 as a school community. To foster the spirit of the Marathon of Hope, we encourage students to earn their donation through a helpful chore or deed at home.

Let’s work together to reach our goal! If we raise $1,000 by 10:00 AM on the day of the run, the entire school will get to see Mr. G get a pie (or two) to the face.
