Home / Students / Code of Conduct

At Saseenos Elementary School, we believe that all children have the right to learn in a safe, caring and orderly environment where everyone has the best possible opportunity to do his/her best. Our expectations are that students will maintain an attitude that is cooperative, courteous and respectful. As students gain maturity and move through the grades, we expect increasing responsibility and self-discipline.

Be Respectful to Yourself – Be on time. Attend regularly. Always try to do your best work. Make good choices. Follow school rules.

Be Respectful to Others – This means we will show people kindness, courtesy and cooperation. We will help others; we will include others in activities; we will listen to and follow directions of the adults employed by the school district. We will respect the rights of others to learn.

Be Respectful to Property – We will work to see that the property of other individuals or of the school district is not damaged.

Be Safe –We will remind each other of ways to stay safe. We will keep our environment clean. We will be aware of emergency procedures and follow directions. We will promote a climate of understanding and mutual respect. We will inform a “tellable” adult in a timely fashion of incidents of bullying or harassment or intimidation.
Our Code of Conduct is designed to provide guidelines for appropriate student behaviour while under the jurisdiction of the school or at any school-sponsored function.
