Dear River Runner Families,

We are in the PEKELÁNEW̱ Moon – The Moon that Turns the Leaves White. This moon brings the first frost. Next week will have our Remembrance Day Ceremony on Monday at 10:45. Tuesday is no school for Remembrance Day. Thursday we have a PAC meeting at 2:45 in the library. Everyone is welcome. Our Grade 4s and 5s are also playing in Handball Games after school. Thanks for being such great sports at the games last week, River Runners. Friday is photo retakes in the morning. If your child needs a retake, please send in their package and they can bring it with them to the photographer. If your child missed photo day they can get one done on Friday too.

• Saseenos SWAG! We have partnered with Team Sales Victoria to have a clothing order site for staff, students and parents.  Shirts and hoodies are available between now and November 18^th at Midnight! 3 weeks for delivery to the school, just in time for Christmas!  Order TODAY! https://saseenos-river-runners.itemorder.com/shop/home/

PAC Information:

The PAC is bringing back the much anticipated “Kid’s Holiday Sale” on Friday December 12th. This sale is an opportunity for every student in the school to go shopping for their families! Items will be priced at $2 per item. 100% of money raised go to the school! We will also have a bake sale where everything is $1 and FREE Hot Chocolate for all staff and students.

Examples of gifts to donate: Costume jewellery, candles, mugs, home decor, arts and crafts, puzzles, unopened bath and body items, board games, scarves and hats, sports equipment, books, kitchenware, stuffed animals, and gift wrapping items. Please DO NOT provide opened cosmetics and toiletries. (NEW and GENTLY USED items only PLEASE)

* We are also in need for Christmas wrapping supplies ( bags, tissue, bows, wrapping paper ect)

Where can items be dropped off? Items can be dropped off in the school office starting school hours until Dec.1st.
