Dear River Runner Families,

Next week we have early dismissal on Friday at 11:30. Shared learning is happening on Thursday and Friday. Your child’s teacher have reached out with times to visit the class. Please ask if you are unsure.

• The Scholastic Book Fair is coming back to Saseenos next week! We will be open in the library the following hours:

Monday and Tuesday 11:45 – 12:17 and 2:30 – 3:00

Thursday 11:45 – 12:17 and 2:30 – 3:30 and 5:00 – 6:00

Friday 11:30 – 1:00

• Our Choir and Dancers are performing for the school on Monday at 10:30 if your child is dancing or singing you are welcome to come enjoy the show.
• Our Fun Run on Thursday was excellent. Thank you to all our runners and supporters. Our next run is on Wednesday! 3:30 at Poirier Elementary.
• Our Grade 4s are heading to the Fire Expo in Metchosin on Wednesday as well to learn all about staying safe on Wednesday as well.
• Kowalko’s Grade 1s are heading to the Sooke Museum on Tuesday.
• Journey will be hosting a Grade 5 Open House Evening on Thursday, April 16^thfrom 6–7 pm for incoming grade 5 students and their families. Families will have the opportunity to tour the school, visit classrooms, and attend an information session in the gym.
